anyone else get rude cmmts on the G1 tht sound dumb?

so right aftr everyone around me starts saying "its jus a dumb sidekick with google. who the fck needs google?! i can do tht on my sidekick"

People fear what is not known to them, from make believe urban legends to the common garden snake. We see it every day in our society give the general populous something without a parallel to measure it against and people assume the worst. In this case an open source OS, the issue is not so much with the phone itself it's with the idea that android will usher in a new level of customization not seen before of handheld devices we call cell phones. People hate on things that are groundbreaking its just their way of dealing.....I say let em hate as I continue to enjoy my G1 the less people on my network bandwidth the better as far as Im concerned lol.

only thing i get is people saying tmobile networks suck, and then they pull out their sprint instinct phones and say they can watch tv on it.... who cares about that!!!

Every single person I have show the phone to has been impressed with it. Every single one.

Except one guy...who owned a Motorola Razor that insisted his phone did all of that but he just didn't want to pay extra to use those features.

He proved it by showing me an animated gif of two skeletons humping.

Allot of people respect the apps and all it can do.. if not i tell them kick rocks..

A couple of friends of mine who are all about the iphone tried bragging about their favorite apps on the iphone. They wereapps already ported to Android. Then one tried saying the iphone had a compass so I asked why Apple says it doesn't and he said... "oh yeah I guess it doesn't".

So far everything they use the iphone for my phone can do as well plus extra.
