This forum is geared more towards the general Android user than the super-geek, so how you rate this forum really depends upon what you’re looking for. If you have basic Droid questions and want basic answers, this is a great forum. If you want to know how to develop your own Droid apps, this forum can help you get started but is not as complete or as advanced as a forum like XDA-Developers. There are not nearly as many general categories on Android Community as there are on other forums, but the forum is active and it doesn’t take that long to get your Android questions answered. One handy feature of Android Community are the staff reviews. While there are not as many staff reviews as one might hope for, the reviews that are there are helpful and generate a lot of discussion.

4-5 not bad, this is in fact a great forum and we have a lot of people who help out and understand when a noob is a noob, some of the older members dissapear from time to time but this is a site i visit everyday, sometimes just to say hi to people

I think its spot on..as far as development goes we got a few good members but XDA is the place to go..as far as getting any question answered this is the best all around place to go

i think i am one of those who dissapear form time to time. lol i do check it everyday but just dont have time to post all the time like i have in the past. only two weeks of school left and i should be back in the swing of things lol

i love this forum and 4-5 is pretty good considering the ratings of a few other ones.

I'm a member of several forums including xda, and like you I think this is the best over all forum. Take a look at T-Mobile forums and you will see what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean, and as far as other forums, people here aren't so quick to bash noobs and send them searching generally its an answer followed by try searching next time plz haha

Yeah, when I first got the phone in January, I asked a question on xda and you would have thought I was I was asking for a loan. The first question I asked here was answered without making me feel like an idiot.

i think we got ripped off ! we are better than a 4 . as a forum , we are the best in everything but developement . this is the best forums to go to , to get a question actually answered . we deserve more like a 4.5

True because even if we don't have the answer for development someone sure as heck has a link of where to go to find the answer
