Ive had my g1 since february,yesterday while working with my pops on a 4 story building i accidentally dropped it from the roof.On the way down i was like damn,there goes my phone.I went back to the first floor and saw the battery,and the back case lying a few feet away from the actual phone and thught how the hell did my screen not break.I put the battery back on and the phone started up and is working,but the side plastic next to the screen broke off so i superglued it back on lol

Wow RD, you should count yourself lucky - I have heard a few people that have dropped it on sidewalk or the garage floor, from desk level, and the screen cracked. You have a miracle phone, lol.

I've heard others talk about the "flimsy" G1. I guess you proved them wrong. My question is, Should I bring you to Vegas? Or is the G1 made that well?

Lucky! I dropped mine from about 4 ft. It landed on the front and the top half is cracked. I thought when I dropped it that it would be fine untill I flipped it over.

WOW. Amazed is RIGHT!
I've had 2 G1s now. I dropped mine on the concrete floor of an autoshop out of my hand so not very far up, a fall that many of my phones have taken. The screen wasnt cracked when i picked it up, but when i turned it back on, the screen just flashed white and stayed that way. Luckily I had warranty on it!

Wow , I've dropped mine many times with just a tiny dent in the right side to show . But from a roof !
Anyways... pictures please(or as some say , it didn't happen)
