"LADIES and GENTLEMEN!!! BOYS and GIRLS of ALL AGES!!!
    OK, now that I've got everyone's attention, I have a couple'a questions....
First is probably a dumb one, I live in an apartment building, and I probably won't be able to be home when UPS comes, will they let the front-desk sign for my G1? Or does it have to be me that signs for it?
Second, I ordered on 9/29, and up until this past Tuesday, when I would call 611, it would say, "Your order has been received, and is on back-order", etc.... But Tuesday, it added an 'Order Number'. Now this is probably a stupid question too, but, is that my 'Tracking Number', 'Reference Number', or just the 'Order Number' like it says? Thanks in advance!!

Man, I feel like a 'lil' kid on Christmas Eve!!!!!

Im gonna go with YOU have to sign for it since in signing for it, you are accepting the charge for the phone on ur bill. People who changed their mind need nt sign and the phone will be shipped back.

your tracking is your phone number separated by -'s. for example: 123-456-6789

track by reference, if u just add it in the track a shipment it wont work, because the reference # is your main account phone #

Well, I talked with CS today, and they said that if you live in an apt, and it has a security front-desk, more than likely they well be able to sign for your phone when UPS delivers, and that mine should arrive on the 22nd!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

So does this mean I'm special?

I'm sure it'll change to the 22nd. From my understanding, there can be some pretty hefty fines for breaking a street date.

Hodgkins, eh? That's a suburb packages of mine go through sometimes. I wonder if yours stopping through there after shipping from Kentucky means mine will likely ship from Kentucky.

I've found the policy to essentially boil down to someone at your delivery address needing to sign for it, regardless of whether or not it's you and whether or not they live there. However, in my experience, if you go pick up the package from the station, they want ID showing that you're either the person it was shipped to, or have the same address as them.

When I called t-mobile to ask the exact same question about the apartment complex thing t-mobile said ANYONE over the age of 18 can sign for the package at your residence, and that if no one is home UPS will then look to the office building to have someone sign for it. We shall see!

Anyway, if the address change doesnt go through, does anyone know if I could pick it up directly from my local UPS warehouse?

Here's another idea for you, I don't know if it'll help, but on the UPS site, there's a link to change your delivery address....

    Hope it helps.....
