this is really pissin me off... stuff like this usually comes easy to me...

To anyone who has done this - maybe you can find something wrong...

I've got Psi connected to gchat. I can use it to chat - no problem.
I used server jaim.at to add the AIM Transporter aim.jaim.at

I gve it my aim username and password - it said i registered correctly...

    Now, I've got this:

It says I'm connected to the transport just fine... Even shows my status to be the same as my gchat status... But I never got requests to authorize all of my AIM contacts... What gives? Any clue? Anyone?

I got it to work by adding one screen name manually and they all magically flow afterwards.

Did you not read? The people here are trying to get AIM and other protocols working over something else other than IP. You've missed the point completely. If this solution isn't what you're looking for, or something you don't see the point of using, then don't bother commenting on it.

What we as a community here are trying to do is to help each other get stuff working. Bear in mind that the US isn't the only country in the world, and that there are users here from all over the world, and any and all kinds of constructive advice is almost always appreciated.

Now, if you'd like to get back to your homework, leave us be to get back to getting non-Gtalk IM services working over IP, thank you very much .

When I did this it kept my AIM account online 24/7 (even if my Google Talk account was offline) so I had no choice but to disable it. Did I do something wrong while I was setting it up?
