Xperia X1 anyone?

I've been salivating over this phone since i saw it and the fact that Sony has now joined up with the OHA makes android on this phone even more plausible.

I'm excited over this. I had a W810 from sony a while back and was very happy with it. Unfortunately, that phone was lost at a mets game. Anyone else interested in seeing android running on this device?

I am positive it will be possible under minor changes, hacks, etc ... bottom line that device is HTC I can see it - it just got sold to Sony to fix their reputation ... now, I blame SONY for waiting this long to go public and release the device to the stores... it is still no the pre-order and we almost know everythign about it -- not kind of good for the future sales I think...
I prefer android way - here is the little bit of news and we make sure you get the right thing vs. we have the best phone ever and will release it in a year - and here are the full specs and some real youtube review videos... SONY had to move faster on Xperia and they did not... I think that will affect their sales... because even for the same price I will always go with Android devices from Google - or whoever is the carrier

Considering the phone was announced February of 2008, I think they are still on track if they release the phone by the end of this year. It comes with a LI-Po 1500mAh battery!!!! which means stand by time of 833hr and 10 hr of talk time. Sony has the best battery.

Damn i totally forgot to mention that was another big reason why i was drawn to it. When you think about it, battery life is the most important thing on a mobile device, JMO.

The device indeed is HTC. I am a huge hater of all Sony handsets, but with this one my faith may be renewed.

I was pretty excited about this phone months ago, but with all the new HTC devices and the Android OS, its not a contender anymore.
