Worried about internal storage?

Been downloading apps from the market, and it seems to only save to the internal storage. I love the phone but I'm really worried about the amount of internal storage. I download a bunch of apps from the market, and checked how much storage was left, only 41mb available. What do you guys think, is that enough room for future apps?

On my dash i had an option of installing the app to either my external memory or the phones memory. I dont seem to see something like that here on the G1. I say we just wait a week or so until people releasing apps that let you take control of your phone better.

From what I've read it sounds like that is our only option...

From what I've read you CAN install to the SD card..

What you have to do is download the .apk directly from a website instead of through the Marketplace.. when you do that and try to install it, the phone will tell you that you have to install it to the SD card.

Kinda strange, but apparently it works. I haven't tried it yet, though..
