i'm almost positive that both of the unlimited data plans include hotspot connections -- can anyone confirm with a link?
Hi I have a quick question, I want to know if the wifi(hotspot) is part of the $35 plan? I'm asking because I pay $10 a month for the hotspot on my Blackberry.

Both $25 and $35 plans have T-Mobile Hotspot data access.
Yes, it's unlimited data, hotspot, and unlimited Google Talk/IM. The IM for AIM, Yahoo and other non-google progs end up using text-messaging data stream or some such, so if you're on the 400 text message plan (the $25 plan) you will have to be careful with your non-google IMs.
The day after i ordered my phone i called T-Mo to ask about the Data plan (I have the $35 one) and I was told by the CSR that the Data Plan did include unlimited Hot-Spot access.
ANDROID... CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN!!!
Wi-fi access is free with any wi-fi enabled device (i.e., iTouch). No service is even necessary.
Making calls over a wi-fi network (VoIP, T-Mobile's UMA) is currently not possible on the new G1 phones regardless of what service plan you have - HTC or T-mobile simply missed it. This is one of my biggest gripes. Not sure if it will ever be available.
how can they charge you extra for using your own internet connection? Sorry if this is a dumb question but i've never heard of this. If the device can connect to wi-fi, and you're not using the cell carriers signal for data anymore, you're using your ISP so how could they charge you?
