I have an Acer Iconia A500 tablet, and am very pleased with it. The full size USB port on it is great, you can hook up usb drives, external drives, keyboards, usb hub, or even my camera. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it.

Is it going to get an official Ice Cream Sandwich update? Are there any cons?

Both are good in their respective positions. Among these two, I like  Acer Iconia Tab. The Acer Iconia Tab offers Android Honeycomb on a 10.1-inch screen along with GPS, front and rear cameras, Adobe Flash compatibility, full-size USB host port, HDMI output – and all this for a reasonable price.

I bought an Advent Vega and put Vegacomb onto it. It`s not the best screen in the world but for the £120 it cost I can browse the internet from my sofa for hours if I want. I also read a rumor that ICS may come to the Vega.
Vega has full size USB
Camera is not very good
