What the hell is your problem, Fare? Did I do something to piss you off? Or are you having a bad day?
Also, when I said that it should have it working right off the bat, I meant that you should not have to open your keyboard to open land scape view.

The G1 does have an accelerometer, download the "Amazed" Game and you'll see it use the Android OS's accelerometer.

Mr. Collection, this phone is not up to 1 month old. My suggestion, get it on Christmas Day or Martin Luther Kings day.

As someone mentioned earlier, be patient. We all want things and need things for this phone, that did not come prepackaged with it, so grab a ticket/number and get in line...lol

As for your initial question, I have no idea when the next Android power device will be on the Market, Motorola has developers working on 1 probably, but cant say for certain. My guess will be Spring 2009.

Thanks for your response dkvitus. Hopefully it will be springish 2009, I can wait until that. I for one do not believe we will see the best applications for the OS by december, since all those picked apps from google (biowallet and others) dont come out till January IIRC.

for the record, Multitouch is not a patent issue... Google just hasnt come up with any unique gestures yet...

Since everyone is opening their fangs and singing about it, maybe we should throw in some suggestions. what kind of unique gestures could you think of? (Apart from the nasty 1 u r thinking about right now... lol)

You may want to save some money for the apps that come with price tags too...

I am also waiting for Biowallet and other apps (like PebbleBox)...

I dont dislike the iPhone, h3ll I never used a iPhone. I used the Touch so I guess its the same just without the phone. I dont like AT&T service. Im glad Tmo has a phone that is competition to the iPhone. Now I can have a touch screen phone since Im a Tmo customer.
Proud owner of a Tmobile G2.

    I have a dream! A HTC Dream a.k.a G1. Finally rooted.
