What is that scanner app everyone is talking about?/power support?

Like what does it do? Can i buy things online and just scan my card though that app? Also does anyone know if power support is going to make a anti-glare film for the g1? I have one for my touch and besides the screen is weird on your eyes i still love it. Thanks

Its called shop savy, you scan a barcode and it looks up the prices online of all the stores near you finds you the cheapest price gives you a map to the store and much much more. look it up on youtube

O sounds interesting. But if u have a barcode doesn't that mean u have the item ? So why would u need to find something u already have?

Umm...how about price comparison? You are thinking of buying a somewhat expensive item but haven't really done enough research and don't know if the store is offering you a decent price...just scan the barcode and see what other retailers have to offer...look at reviews that other members have left...play sample songs if it's a CD you are looking at, etc, etc, etc.

O u do all this in a store. I was thinking it was a home thing . Sounds cool.

and you can set price alerts, so if you see somthing you want in a store but it is a little to expensive for you you can set the phone to alert you when it drops to your specified price
