Lime D. Zeze was my punk rock band nickname. My first email address was limedzez@... (only eight characters were allowed for it then) and ever since then I've used either limedzez or limedzeze for usernames/email addresses.
You know, like Lime Disease (or Lyme Disease). "Lime" is very similar to my actual first name, only different. Genius, I know... :-)
Bad Fetch: A code returned error when attempting to retrieve data from a data source. There are plenty of other code references. Basically, I'm a geek.
I'm a railroad employee, "On the Ground" is sort of the code word for derailing. It's used both literally (As in the train derailed) and figuratively (When someone gets suspended they are "On The Ground", you could say their career just derailed )
Use of the screenname started more as sort of a joke during a period of time where a rash of employees were getting suspended, I used it to post anonymously on an employee-owned webpage during the complaint fest and its stuck since.
[quote=Vincent;7539]That's damn cool, thanks for sharing. Nice thread --- I love it. One particular id I usually go by is aSSa. According to some folks, I'm usually considered an "a-hole" so one day I said to myself, what the heck, I should embrace my a-holeness. So long story short, aSSa spells a$$ both ways . I also go by dteky way back in 2001. It stands for the techie. I still use this id for AIM and Yahoo instant messenger.[/quote
