i sure hope so! i haven't read any news since this morning, just a small info through the forums and people screaming back and forth who is the winner of the free phone. Also screaming about GPS availability. Now i am home and i can check out the live replay and get updated.
I finally got mine after they posted that message. I had to go through the normal "Upgrade Phone" process, but the G1 is at the top. If it's still working, here's the link.

thats right!!! try again! lol i tried for about an hour and what did it for me was hitting back/refresh till i finally was able to complete the order
i got it, it is complete now i'm a NEW OWNER OF THE G1. now my next goal is to pray that there will be 3G in my area!
okay i got it!!! i kept going back and starting over each time getting to various levels of completion. Actually making it to checkout a few times only to be slapped with the error...then finally after many many attempts..."thank you for your order!!"
Can you imagine, this morning i knew nothing of this phone and between this website, the press release, and the frenzied, "goota have it" fever that came over me because i couldn't have, brought me to a level of "can't live without it"
