WELCOME ME BACK YALL!!!! Mytouch just arrived!!!What should I do first!?!?!?

Its literally in the ups brown box. I want to do the one click root thing and apps2sd first. I use to have a g1 and I rooted that the manual way, so I figured I would do it the quick and easy way. Any suggestions on what I should do first?!??!

since u have already done the rooting manually im not gonna get after you for even mentioning the "1 click root" because u atleast have experience doing so and not just jumping into the water not knowing how deep it is.

I think I did something wrong I flash cyanogen rom and now Im stuck at the android screen.

do u have the latest recover img? 1.4?

just pull the battery and go into recovery and wipe

try wiping then reapplying the update

or

try updating to an a little older cyan rom , like 3.6.5 , then moving up to the latest . for some reason some phones have trouble going straight to the latest , but are fine when they take steps .

I think you should open the box first before you continue with any other steps, as they might be kind of hard to do...

now mytouch is stuck at the mytouch screen. I got it working but started fooling around with apps2sd and messed something up.

did you use the apps2sd app ? if so , it breaks cyans rom .

go into you recovery , wipe the phone , reupdate whatever rom you are using , then reboot .

or

if you did a nandroid backup before this , you can restore it .

ALWAYS DO A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU TRY SOMETHING NEW
