Web 'n' Walk icon removal

Is it possible to remove the Web 'n' Walk icon from my program menu? I'm not with T-mobile so its of no use to me.

i am with t-mobile and dont see the point of it

i think u would need 2 put the dev os on there or something to take out all the t-mobile stuff

I have t-mobile and I've never heard of it, lol. I never had any t-mobile icons on mine except for myfaves.

I'm not sure what system resources are tied to the UK/Euro 'Web 'n Walk' feature and icon. I know that deleting MyFaves on US G1s causes sudden loss of contacts (personal experience). I would suggest posing the question/searching for the answer over at XDA-developers. Many of those guys are Brits and have probably tackled the issue already.
