hmm do I want to attempt running this on emulator.

I have the sdk installed on eclipse, what would I do next if I did want to try. I suppose download, and then run configurations?

The sig wasn't meant as you guys interpreted it but no worries.
Oh, I'm sorry you enjoyed me on the forums but *susan* has ran me off and should run off other potential awesome members in the future.

found my own answer it was on the nullwire site, not engadget.

    Try out Cupcake yourself

Submitted by Nullwire on Tue, 27/01/2009 - 13:39 Do you want to see how Cupcake works for yourself? These generic images representing the current state of the public repository branch known as Cupcake can be used in the Android emulator. Follow the steps to get it up and running.
    1. Download and install the Android SDK found here.
    2. Download this zip containing new latest Android images:

    3. Unpack files to a temporary location.
    4. Backup the folder <android-sdk-folder>/tools/lib/images (<android-sdk-folder> is the Android SDK installation folder)
    5. Replace the files ramdisk.img, system.img and userdata.img in <android-sdk-folder>/tools/lib/images with the files unpacked from the zip in step 3.
    6. Start the emulator and wait.

a couple of other things that i'm sure have been mentioned in the update

things i found and i liked are the new feautres in the browser

you can now "find on page" or search on the page you are at and also you can select text which than copies to notepad/clipboard

the new VK is pretty nice i like the dark keys and you also have the ability to turn off the VK if you like the physical keyboard

you can enable auto-rotate as a whole to the phone. so root needed anymore

thats all i noticed so far, outside of what the video actually shows you

Hrm, where are all the naysayers that accused Google of abandoning the platform?
