Volume Issue

when I go to:

menu>settings>sound & display>media volume, I can move the little slider back and forth - but teh volume (example that plays while adjusting) remains the same. I set it to the lowest setting and the vlume was the same as the highest...any ideas?

Are you listening through the headphones that came with the phone? If so, their volume control will come into play. If you want the full range of volume, set the headphones the highest and then adjust the volume directly on the phone itself.

no headphones installed - shouldn't the medi volume output come throuh the g1 speakers when I am adjusting this?
