virus?

Last night I ran into this while searching for photos taken at shows I've been in this fall. It redirects to a page that supposedly scans your handset, locks the browser with the only choice being to download an anti-virus from another page. Tried it on my Mac and it did the same thing. I shut down my G1 and on the Mac I forced it to quit Safari.

Maybe someone more computer savvy than me can figure out if this is an auto-exec (maybe wrong term), a virus or other nuisance. I have read, but need to re-read the user guide to find a way to force quit the Android browser.

Hope this isn't silly or "old hat" for some of the gurus here. It freaked me out.

The site is definitely bad juju. I went to it in chrome and it has been flagged as a known malware site. The G1 and your Mac are safe though since I'd almost guarantee that the malware is windows specific
