Vibrating Violently?
Hey AC! This is my first smart phone so I was just wondering is it normal that the G1 vibrates so violently? I keep my phone on vibrate in college so only i can feel it but with this on i bet a lot of people can hear it. I guess i'll just have to put it on silent.

Thats what she said... but on a side note, if there isnt a setting already, there soon may be developers working to adjust things such as vibration strength, backlighting and, other currently unchangeable hardware options.

a lot of it could have to do with your keyboard... when it vibrates... it rattles the other part of the phones where they split... if you hold the phone real tight. it should be ok. or if in your pocket... maybe not as bad. that's how my t-mobile Wing was... it would shake a entire table. lol.

It shakes kinda bad when you have it on a call using speakerphone. I had the vibe and ring on but, decided to just turn it off since it rattles as much as it vibrates.
