yea i wanna know 2?
Is there any way to go into the app and find out if there is an update for it?
At the moment, I am searching for all my apps in the market and if I see it says "Installed" I figure it's the latest version and if it says "Free" I install it to update it.
Anyone have a better way of figuring out if there is an update available?

The best way is to sort by date when you go to the market. If an app you already have is listed along with the other new apps, and it says "free" instead of "installed", then it is an updated version.
or if you don't know, just install the app, if you gives you a pop up that your current version will update to a new version, it's an update for the app
If it doesn't give you that prompt, it has been installed yet before! (or you have uninstalled it and installing it again)![]()

Too bad, it's not the best way sine I have so many app installed. I hate to search for everything single one everyday to see if a new one is out.
