Default UK T-mobile flip early adoptors the finger!

    Oh fan f*cking tastic!

I get an email from t-blobile saying I can now have the G1 on a £30 per month contract and it comes with an 8GB sd card too!!

So great, in thanks for my being one of the earliest adoptors and making the launch a success I get to pay £40 per month for mine and I only got a 2GB card too.

Well thanks t-mobile, f**kyou very much.

Yeah, I posted a thread when i saw this advertised in the papers a couple of weeks ago. I'm only paying £30 a month for mine and would have got the 16 gb card that I bought anyway, so I don't feel as shafted as I guess others will.

I know phones are not free and I wish, oh I flaming wish that NO phones at all were ever paid for by the contract.... that way we could pay for our phone up front and for those of us who keep our phones for more than 6 months would enjoy cheaper contracts as we'd not be subsidising those who dont.

Any other smart but obvious comments?

As for our common wealth cousins over the pond.... GET OVER IT!!!! you get everything good and cheap, in fact this phone is the first deal I've ever seen thats cheaper in the UK.

Guys, can you get over the 'Free' phone ****. We pay far more per month for our phones then you do and you could originally only get the phone 'free' on a £40 a month contract (about $65 currently but nearer to $80 a couple of months ago).

How long do the contracts last for? Do you have to wait a year or two until you can get a new phone for a deal like that?

In the UK we are generally on 18 month contracts so the contract total is £720 or roughly $1400.

In a bid to embarrass me for starting this thread it seems t-mobile are now offering the £30 a month deal to existing customers.... :-)
