All of us think the Android tablet from Toshiba will be called Smart Pad but that is just Toshiba product category, according to latest post on the tablet of Netbook Italia.

This Android tablet has Android 2.2, NVIDIA Tegra 2, a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 screen, 16GB internal memory, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3G, SD and MMC card readers, HDMI and USB 2.0 ports, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and a 1020mAh battery with a battery life of up to 7 hours with mixed use.

It is got Opera mobile browser, Flash 1.0, an e-book reader, and some office applications and claimed official name: Folio 100.

yeah ive been drooling over this for a while, back when the specs were just HDMI and android 2.2. these new details have me like a kid counting down for christmas. i will have this puppy when it launches

All these tables need to launch with 3.0 to be viable imo...android tablets need a strong push this holiday season and will be able to do so if all are launch with the latest version. Otherwise there will be alot of frustrated and upset customers who get 2.2 only to realize that 3.0 is released and they cant have it till summer of 2011 or something.

As bad as i want an android tablet (give my kidney bad) they need to do it right and stop all this multiple OS relase BS. Make this uniform at least on the table front, its fresh and google can do it...but alas they wont.
