Slick but bulky... maybe as a secondary one. My plan is get the simplest one (usb to 3.5), get a set of decent headphones (Grado SR 60's... like $60) and TAPE them together with electrical tape. I have a long history of losing little adapter bits, so this is as close as I'm going to get to a built in 3.5 headphone jack and no recurring adapter replacement fees.![]()
I'm honestly just thinking about buying two of these adapters. I plan to see if I can cut off the end of the female end of the adapter (3.5mm in) and the male end of my headphones (3.5mm out) to see if I can connect the two of them together with the internal wires. The only thing I've done this with is XLR cables so I'll be interested to see what happens.
