T-mobile question...

If i ordered the G1 on a family member's account and i use it for me... do i have to put her sim card in first so they know she recieved that phone. it seems like i have heard that before.. just seeing if any of you T-Mo reps know about that! thanks! and i should have put the under FAQ.

no I dont believe you need to. You could just to be safe but I dont think it would matter if its all for the same account (meaning all under the family plan)

I'd call T-Mobile whenever asking questions pertaining to your personal plan.

While we've been told several times here on the Android Community that this should not be a problem since many of us, including myself, have done this in the past.

That's what i thought. and it isn't on the same account. but i might as well just to be on the safe side... if anything... they would prob. just call her or send her a message asking to confirm that she got the device... thanks for the info.
