Second. Thanks for taking the time to post some info.

Third. Could you clarify the slowdown issue. Is it possible that apps are being left open in the background and just chewing up all the memory?

Anyway, glad to hear that edge is good. I cant see VA getting 3g anytime soon, but here is hoping. Also glad to hear the phone actually functions well as a PHONE

I really hope the updates fix stuff too! And thanks for the info Kaziko. ANYTHING else will be GREATLY appreciated by ALL! I have a 16 month old baby, so i know what your going through right now. Especially working 2 jobs, and not being able to see your kid as much as you would like. Take care

Kaziko, are you using this phone every day as your own phone, or is it a demo unit in your store? In any case, have you had a chance to evaluate how long the battery lasts between charges?

I second that about the 3G. It is good to hear that it seems pretty decent on Edge. Ill still be using wi-fi as much as possible though.

The great thing about the wifi is that if you connect to a wifi hotspot whenever your in range of that router, the G1 will automatically connect to that wifi hotspot. This feature makes not having the 3G network not so bad. You can drive our normal routes and whatever wifi spot pops up just connect, the next time you drive through that area youll automatically connect

For all the negative response I have had about all the doubts that I even have the G1. I will post these pics to prove that I do in fact have a G1 in my hands. And this will be the last you will hear from me about this device. I tried to be nice and give a little heads up on the G1 and even told people not to flame me, but obviously that was too much to ask. So with this being said, good luck finding another Inside source on the phone that you so desperatly seek to know of!

... Anymore reviews? Just out of curiosity, can you let us know how the downloads in the Android Market work?

... I'm also glad to know EDGE networks dont really diminish G1's perfomance that much. I think my region will be updated in 2020.
