I bet you, you will have a picture of the Maybach Exelero before the opening post puts up pics of their G1

I'll break it up into a pros and cons sort of review and these are unbiased opinions, so no flaming me for any of my personal views.

    I'll start with the
    PRO's:

The device is fairly quick to startup compaired to other HTC devices.
It is very lightweight considering what's inside this beast.
The slide out keyboard works real well and doesn't have a flimsy feel to it.
The market works just as well as the "iphone"
Alot of usefull apps to download from the market including a free ringtone maker
The earpiece is fairly clear when making and recieving calls you hear absolutly no static
The Speaker is relatively loud compared to other HTC devices

    CON's:
Has a big memory leak somewhere I find I have to restart the device in order to get it running smoothly again.
The battery charger makes the bottom of the phone extremely hot.
    No virtual keyboard
Phone doesn't run as smoothly as you would think. Programs sometimes stutter trying to start up
There is no folder system like the one found on the other HTC devices so finding your files requires you to search around in one of the various programs associated with the file type you're trying to view.
Video playback is very limited. Would not play .mpg or .wmv files which are pretty much standard when it comes to videos downloaded off the net.

    More to come...
Please everyone stop. I know that kaziko has said many times that he is a T-Mobile employee and he is giving his honest opinion about the G1. I'm guessing in order to do that he has used one of the demo phones that his store was given.

I know we all want the G1 to be a perfect phone but it won't be and we'll all have our opinions about it. Please keep comments civil so we don't have to close this thread. Thanks!

Thanks Xondria, I rest my case on this 1....

BUT if I allegedly had a G1 the first thing I would want to do is take pics with my face and/or name right next to it to get bragging rights (since i dont upload vids to youtube anyways.)

Kaziko, we understand your plate is full, but it's about time for redemption... Get these peeps off your back and on your side...
    Peace out!

I know that we're all excited about our phones and that it's easy to doubt people's claims (especially when it comes to having a G1 already) but it doesn't mean we should be disrespectful, rude, or mean. Thanks to Darrell for doing so. Ok I'm done lecturing, back to your regularly scheduled posting

They might not be able to post the pics, since he might get fired if he showed the phone?

Kinda OT, but if he really has a demo phone in his store, that means that the phone will be sold in non-3G areas. His store is in Jacksonville, FL. We don't have 3G.

You guys are harsh. If you had read all of his posts the day after he said he was gonna take pics his WIFE HAD A BABY! Now I know the G1 means alot to all of you but give the guy a break. He's back to work today if I'm not mistaken and I plan to call this afternoon to make sure and possibly go out to see his G1. I'll be happy to take my digital camera and get him to take a pic of me with the phone.

He IS the manager of the T-Mobile store he claims to be as I went out there and chatted with one of his employee's on Saturday, the day the baby was born.
