T-Mobile 3G live in Savannah, GA unannounced?

Just noticed I have 3G coverage in parts of Savannah, GA for the first time. Savannah has never appeared on any T-mo 3G rollout plan that I know of...official or otherwise. Very pleased!

i learned about it from a tweet a couple of months ago. someone posted that they had 3g from one of the ramps off bay street. never thought about it til i got to work in savannah a couple of weeks ago and noticed the "3g" on the phone. lot faster than edge for sure...

Yeah...my wife commented that she had seen it pop up once or twice on her G1 while driving around town.

Last night we were in the Savannah Mall and she said she was getting 3G. So I quickly went and turned on 3G on my phone and bingo-bango-bongo.....I had 3G also.

I kept it on and had 3G coverage all the way home. My wife said before when she'd gotten it that she'd lose it pretty quick and it was spotty at best. She had not noticed it at our house until last night.

I'm wondering if they finally went fully live throughout the city New Years Day?

I'm stoked to finally have 3G at work!

yeah the city up I-16 from you, never was listed on any of the 3g rollout lists, but we have had it here in macon for atleast 4 or 5 months now (plus its getting better coverage and speed almost daily) it's also listed on tmobiles official 3g map.

it's a nice surprise and worth noting that you shouldn't always go by internet rumors
