Speed up the droid

Don't know if you guys know this tip but after I deleted my SMS threads there was a considerable boost in processing speeds (opening / switching application). Just throwing it out there.

You kinda right...but i wish my G1 was like my MDA cuz i use to have over 20,000 text save on my phone and nothing happens.

also a couple big things that help performance...

delete your browser cache....history and cookies if you feel the need.... but cache is good...history is good if you dont need it

also delete your download history if you are a user who saves a lot of images off the internet or whatever...

immediate results may vary** lol

Has anyone had trouble sending messages in succession (within a few seconds)? maybe it's because my thread was a bit long?? i had 2 40txt threads... then i deleted one because I kept gettin a could not be sent warning hoping that this would remedy it.

I delete each thread when they reach around 100-150. The only thing I've noticed it speeding up is the messaging app itself, haven't noticed it speeding up the rest of the phone, but it rarely if ever slows down much.
