probably, just a matter of stripping and soldering.... and btw, a2dp is not supported out of the box for the first generation G1, so at thsi point bluetooth stereo headsets are out of the question... but exepct a firmware upgrade to fix this

Be careful. You can introduce more impedance, depending on your material and skills. The volume on the G1 is not exactly loud, so any increase of impedance may be bad.
