SMS reply defaults to 1st user in directory

Hello,

I am new to the android as I just got mine last week. I seem to be having a problem replying to text messages sent to me by others. When I get text message they are all under the same thread and I can not reply directly to the person that sent it, the reply always goes to the first person in my phone address book.

Is there some setting that I hit accidentally that is not allowing me to reply to the person that sent me the message without holding down the text message and then copying them into my address book and then sending them the text directly.

I know I am doing something wrong, because this seems like too much to go through just to reply to someone that has messaged me.

No one can help me with this??? No one has any clues ???? Really makes text messaging a pain in the rear.

i dont understand your problem, messages are set up in a thread form.

Seems my phone was bugged. Everything was going to the same thread. A hard reset resolved my problem.
