SMS not vibrating

I am not getting vibration when I et an SMS or email, I do however for calls. I cannot find a setting for this.

Any help?

It should be, seems like a big detail to let go on Google's part.

Click on messaging and then click menu. Press settings and scroll down till you see the vibrate option and select it.

silent mode doesnt allow any sound or vibration, even if you have them turned on...put the phone in vibrate mode and it will work

put it on vibrate not on silent...
on silent EVERYTHING is gone.. ur phone lights up when u get something, other than that, no sound no vibrate

Thx for the info. I am now a little disappointed because it is two very short dashes when I get an SMS, I don't think I will feel it when it's in my pocket.
