Default Skinning the UI (object desktop)

Has anyone heard about someone developing an app like this? I think it would be a great addition to the "open source" mind frame of the G1/Android.

I would hope someone makes new skins for android.

I would also really like someone to make a clock more akin to the one on the HTC Diamond, and not the Sprint version, the original Asian/European version.

just hopefully nothing by stardock. Nice enough stuff. I have used plenty of their products. But they are more or less resource hogs.

It would be awesome if we could get a version of HTC Touchflo3D or 2D for Android!

Also what would be cool is if someone could program a theme customizer, where all you have to do is create the graphics to spec then add them into the program and it writes them to where they need them! I have wanted to create my own themes, but editting XML is such a pain in the arse!
