Since 1.6 can no longer mount phone to PC

Did a search and found one possible related thread, but am getting no reply, so... since I installed 1.6 my phone will only mount on my PC for a few minutes before automatically unchecking "enable USB mass storage." I presume there are USB drives on the phone, does anyone know how to reinstall them -- or another solution? This happens on all PCs I try. Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is but you might have USB Debugging checked/unchecked. Check it and uncheck it and see if that solves the issue worked for me when my phone had the same problem

You might want to try removing the battery and putting it back in. I think this resets the phone and then it may work for you.

BTW, I don't think this process erases the data on the phone, so your data should be intact.

Thanks, tried both suggestions without solution. Anyone on the reinstall of USB drivers?
