Mine seems to come and go randomly. I am not sure why. I got tired of messing with it and just turned it to 2g only. No probs with that, and that handles most of the web pages I look at anyway.
Ok I've noticed this, twice has happened.
I was at my house, and i usually have 1-3 bars, sometimes no service.
But 2 days ago, I did not have service for about an hour. I had to leave, so i took my phone with me and I was on the road for about 10 minutes, ( I live in a populated zone where theres service and 3g, just my house is a little "isolated") .
So I decided, to turn off and turn it back on, as soon as i turned back on i had 5 bars.

Same thing today, I'm at work.. usually 2-3 bars, and i had no service, I put my phone infront of me and waited for about 15 min, still no service, i restarted it and i had 3 bars.

I just dont understand, i put it in my pocket, took it out, no service. I put it on top of the desk for 15 min, no service.
I restarted the phone, bam 3 bars.
I've had the exact same issue for some time now. Anyone know if there's a solution it the works? I might have to stop using it if there's nothing to fix this, I need a phone on which people can call me =\
Exactly the same issue here as well, this is the whole reason I've signed up to this forum.
Mine goes a step further than this also and won't let me open any apps until I restart.
same issue here. switching 3G on/off fixes my signal.
Or , try getting a new SIM.
I have had issues with edge connection (no 3g in ohio!!!!) going away and not comming back until I reset power cycle the phone.
