press menu, then you can configure your network settings (APN). You have to do this, I didnt find a way to skip that step. I just deleted all entries and then added the settings that fit to my provider. Then it will work for sure.

    Question Re: Set Up Problems

    hey,

i've been trying to get this phone to work with rogers for 2 days now and the only way i got it to work is if i set up a new account for gmail

what settings did you enter in the APN and were you able to use your current gmail account or did you have to make a new one?

    thx

    works perfect man
i used my regular gmail account that i use every day

just create your own internet thing

    apn: internet.com
    username: wapuser1
    password: wap

thats all that i put it
it connects to the EDGE network right away
    and it worked

let me know if it works for you
im in edmonton, alberta if it matters
