I hate it when checks hit screens... can cause some serious papercuts to the screen

On another note, would be easy to just lockout the home screen and therefore be able to slide the keypad up and have THAT time out after X number of seconds without risk of starting unwanted apps. Having to go through 2-3 steps to get a dialpad after 2-3 seconds is a major PITA when using automated systems.

i like the screen locking, so my cheeks dont press any buttons like on my wing, and it saves the battery, get youmail.com so that way you dont have to call your freaking voice mail and press 7 to delete each message.

That setting doesn't work. I have mine set to 2 minutes (in all Power Manager profiles) and the screen times out in about 9-10 seconds.

What I found that works perfectly is Shake Awake. All of my phone calls are smooth now, no locking at all.

Yes, I use shake awake too. That is the answer to this problem.

Just shake the phone for 1/2 second and it wakes up

Shake awake works like a champ for me.

..As far as the moronic comment about the "phone sucking as a phone," that's exactly what you hear on the iphone sites and every other smart phone site that has ever been. Go get a Jitterbug.
