hmmmmmm!
woulda been nice to see lancaster on the market - its a good "looking" phone, albeit too small for my tastes...
but... if the rumor is true, that would give a little insight into apple's mindset vis-a-vis google/android

I can count on 2 fingers the number of viable competitors the iPhone OS has right now (Android OS, webOS), and neither of then are on AT&T natively yet. Coincidence? You decide...
All I know is that it's getting down to the wire for Apple. Their OS is feeling pretty stale right now (same basic design since 2007) with a lot of issues related to Apple's walled garden approach. Their exclusivity with AT&T runs out in 2010, so they have some decisions to make, to say the least.
