im bout to sell my G1 that is rooted. can i delete all my personal info and take my sd card and still keep it rooted?

Yes, just do a factory reset. If you have apps2sd you need to leave the card. Mount the card and take your data off. Settings>sd card and phone storage>factory reset at the bottom of the page. You can also format your ext2.
