    Default root

I'm going to try and root my phone. 2 questions, and be honest.
    1. What are the chances I will screw up/brick my phone
    2. If I do screw up/brick my phone are there any remedies, ways to fix the screw up.
Thanks in advance for any info

umm.. i have been here a while and i havent heard of any1 bricking their phone permanatly.

however some ppl have soft bricked their phones but that is an easy fix.

most ppl soft brick their phones applying themes, not in the actual rooting process.

my advice is you should root your phone because honestly their is minimal risk and you will enjoy your phone 1000x more once you do it.

Took me about 30 minutes to do it the first time. Other things like cache to sd are available in easy to run scripts. Installing themes takes a minute or two each. It is all really simple when you follow the walkthroughs and if you get stuck you always have a great community here.

if you use geo411's post for "root made easy" it took me ten minutes the first time seriously...

Root is something that is really great. It opens up all sorts of possibilities for the future. Even if you don't plan on needing it now, you may later.

I am in no way a super savy computer guy. It took me a little longer than most people here have stated (about an hour)
    But it really wasn't hard.
Like someone else said, I didn't soft brick my phone until I I started messing with themes. And even then, all you have to do is flash the phone with the latest JF update.

I Don't Think You'll Brick. I've Hacked My Phone So Many Times Since I Got It In December And I've Never Bricked It. Just Remember To Read Everything.

I Used Paragons Partition Manager For Free On Giveawayoftheday.com And Then Get Apps2Sd App On The Market. And You Should Have A Bigger SD Card And I Recommend You Don't Have Bigger Then A 1GB Partition.
