Ok real quick before I leave here it is the Pulse for G1.

First off many thanks to DRIZZY! For all the help getting this bad boy running.

This is a beta so please bare with me, test it out and post bugs here.

I'm gonna give it a try, as you can see there is little to go off of but maybe some wipes and flash's will do.
Still have 1.4 recovery
and a less than recent soul life build.



MY EXPERIENCE.
All you need to do is wipe and flash this .zip
It actually runs very fast.
Has its T Mobile Pulse bootload screen which was refreshing to see.
The color scheme sticks with the bootloading screen.

The sd card was never detected
The rom itself I believe runs off the internal memory/that's where it flashes too.
This reduced me to only 6MB of internal memory and I only got two small apps to work/download successfully,
But they worked perfectly.
The rom itself comes preloaded with some junky apps you'd expect from a pay as you go phone such as brick breaker.
And I'm pretty confident the real Pulse UI has a 3x3 home screen layout so 9 screens in all
Where as this one only has a 3x2 so 6 screens.

I didn't get to test the small adaptations of the sense UI from the hero since my sd card wasn't located and no pictures could be loaded.
But it was a good expierence for a night where I didn't need my phone or anything.
It's a fun flash.
Give it a try.


The only thing I didn't like besides the sd card not being found was the shortcut button to the my favorites.
But I'm sure that will be changed and fixed soon.

Well I should read more of the comments about it but xda forums get a staggering amount of replies.
And besides there's a lot of buz about the Motorola blur ui and what not.


Problem #1 I took out my 2gig sd card and my phone boot looped it self.

Alright so taking out my sd card boot looped me.
Recovery
Wipe
and flashed the Pulse ROM
it's currently BOOTING!
Pretty exciting, the boot screen is a refresher.

Has the purple T then the grey/whit Mobile sign.
And a purple loading circle thing.

Gonna give it awhile.

Noxtel already has a blur thread on here and he's a tester, thats gonna be real sweet when its done.

Thats not a problem, the rom needs your card to function, it put stuff on your ext partition when you flashed.

I'm currently signing into my gmail account with the pulse ROM successfully flashed!

Totaly worked, 9 screen layout, has some apps included, very cool.
Encoutnerting a glitch in the market where the shades are different, it's not a themed type of thing, it's like the 9 screens are messing it up. Sure it's fine though.
Says there's no sd card either.

And the internal memory seems like it's been reduced to like 2mb or whatever because of the rom, I only got two small apps to install and my contacts didn't really show up.
I don't like the whole my faces short cut at the bottom left.

But I do like this rom.

Yea I only got about 2 apps to instal and they were minor apps and I have 6MB of internal memory avilable of 74MB

Gonna go wipe the phone and see is that fixes things.

Oh and just BTW this rom is FAST!
Lol usually when I go to the market to download my apps again after a wipe it lags a lot but this Rom didn't lag at all.
But yea, not many apps got to be installed.

Pretty sure the real pulse has a 3x3 display so 9 screens in all.
This rom only has 6 screens.
so 3x2?

I'm going to make a video of it, it's pretty cool actually minus the small mount of internal memory it leaves. But I got twidroid and handcent. and it does have the full 3x3 it just doesn't have it stock it starts when ou move icons fa outstretching the screen.

I just flashed the latest version of this rom and the touch flow is working with pictures and videos, very neat, very cool, practically usable for everyday usage.
