Retrieving/Sending MMS Texts

There has always been a problem with retrieving/downloading an MMS text, or the file will download/retrieve but the photo won't always display. Or there will be an error in retrieving the picture. It sometimes won't send or you won't get it at all. And from what i'm hearing now, you can't SAVE it or choose where you want to save the picture whether it be your internal or external memory. Thats a problem, i was thinking with the new 3G network it would be easier and MMS texts would work perfect!

Something that can be changed with updates? OR is it a network connectivity issue?

Can't save pictures, videos, audio, doesn't ask you if you want to save it internally or externally, unreliable on sending or receiving the pictures. It might show that it sent but the receiver downloads it but the photo doesn't show. Could it be any worse, i was hoping the G1 wouldn't have this problem. Solutions?

I cant save the pictures but i can send and receive them so it might be something individual dont really know but mine works perfectly fine just that i cant save em which will probably be added

I don't have any text message pictures to try this with, but have you tried a long press on the picture yet?

i have a friend who will send me an mms and an email.. i receive the email but can not receive mms from her.. she's on at&t... we send sms all the time with no problemmm but i can't receive her mms.. and when i send her mms messages they dont' display the picture.. she has to open the message and go to object view. What gives?
