Question regarding passwords

I'm not sure if it was just a bad week for me, but within two days I couldn't log into my Gmail account or my FaceBook account. Both of my passwords did not work and I had to reset them. After resetting and changing my Gmail password, an hour later the same problem occurred and I had to reset it a second time. I haven't recieved an email to reset my Facebook password, but that's not such a big deal.

Basically, those are both accounts I use on the G1 and I'm wondering if I should be worried (keylogging, etc). My eBay and PayPal accounts are fine NOW, but I don't want to take the risk of having them taken over too.

Any suggestions?

I would say watch out as someone might have your information to allow a password reset. Make sure you add an alternate email address to your gmail account as i think it sends out a notification everytime your password is reset useing your secret question and other challange questions it asks you. I would also suggest you not use the same passwords for all your sites.


Better safe then sorry...
when you log into your gmail account towrads the bottom there is a line that tells you where the last account activity was and a link after that shows you the IP address of any users that logged into your account. Keep in mind your phone might show different IP addresses as it uses different towers and such.

I do have a special character in my password, and I have had issues with other sites. Does the G1 send something different out when a special character is used?

^Oh. I didn't mean I couldn't login because of G1 capabilities. I meant I couldn't login because somebody else had gotten into my account and changed my login password. It's a security issue, not a capability one.
