Flash support is coming soon. Adobe promised it by late 2009 or early 2010. I've not seen any media be playable in the browser - you always have to save the movies and play them in the video player app. HTML5 - not yet.
Hi All,
I just picked up a Droid over the weekend and I'm very impressed but I have a few questions.
I was under the impression that I would be able to run Flash in the browser. Am I doing something wrong, it's not installed and I've been unable to install it.
Is the browser HTML 5 compatible yet? It doesn't seem to be yet I thought I read it was going to be.
I've also been unable to play .mp4s directly in the browser this might be because the size of the videos are too large but I haven't been able to figure out the reason.
I'm a multimedia developer which is why I ask all these questions.
Thanks!

All the info i saw in regards to the Droid and flash was early 2010, but not soon enough in my opinion.
I am assuming you didnt mean mp4's in the browser, but I havent been able to play an mp4 yet either. I guess I need to research the settings
