problems/questions

I've been experiencing some problems-- touchscreen unresponsive/apps, etc, opening on their own, screen freezing-- only way to remedy is to restart the phone. When the problems started I was on JF 1.5. Let me say I tried wiping/ reflashing/ rebooting numerous x's. I then flashed Haykuros new SPL/ROM hoping this might help but it hasn't. I've been dealing with this for about a week now and I'm ready to throw it under a bus. So 2 questions.
1. Could it be a battery problem, could I have fired the battery somehow and that's what's causing the problems?
2. How easy is it to unroot, get back to stock rc33 or whatever and try to get a replacement? I go the phone as a gift back in Nov so I've only had it for about 6 months.

Hello,

With the CupCake upgrade, I noticed I can't see any images in my emails. Not the attachments. I can download those. But if an email has images, It does NOT display them. Can this be enabled to show them? Thanks.

I have noticed some of those force closes pop ups on applications that i am not even running, so i dont understand y they r poping up like that.

as soon as i started using 1.5, i noticed alot of things going wrong. lots of force closes and really slow response times. apps were being kinda stupid and would close or would suddenly close not upon request.

the touch screen became very unresponsive.
the load times on the browser took forever, the G1 froze alot also.

i would lose all bars too,
