problem.. cant get to recovery

i have a problem, for some reason i cant go to recovery mode. i have JFv 1.42_RC33... what can i do

you're holding home key and pressing power? do you have hardspl?

yea i did that.. i have no idea what hardspl is

wait yea i think i do have hardspl1 it was in the update file

try holding camera and power. tell me what you see if it loads

it shows a white screen with three cartoon androids with skateboards on the bottom.. on the top it says:

then it says serial0 with a yellow stripe going through it

ok. you have hardspl. i can't understand why you can't get into recovery though. what are you trying to do?

put a theme... and when i try to get to recovery it shows the g1 screen like normal but then it goes blank and it reboots again then it starts like normal and goes to the home screen

sorry to repeat...you're holding the home key down throughout the g1 boot screen? correct?

yea when i do that the g1 boot screen just keeps appearing..
