personally my fave is cards and synergy. cards is kinda like a live desktop. synergy is syncing and combining contacts and info with gmail, outlook, facebook seemlessly. also the thing with typing in anything on ur keyboard and it then figures out what you're plannign to do and singles out the rigth things for u. my last fav is the unobtrusive notifications.

i think some of the features on here can easily be done altho some of it might have to alter the whole way android works tho. like the unobtrusive notifications i wonder if that can somehow be incorporated in the androids top notification bar. the cards/live desktop might be able to do it if it gets merge thru the widgets. i definately think there can easily be an app that will sync and combine info on facebook to auto add info like contact images and other stuff to the androids contacts menu. i know there are some genius developers that can do this. go go go!!! hehe

Android notifications are pretty unobstrusive as they are. But hey, Android is months ahead of Palm Web OS, and I'm sure it'll have many more slick features by the time Palm Web OS gets to market if it does at all.

its not bad but i want it to show me who's sending me a text and what's it says or parts of it instead of saying a text. right now i just have the popup but that can be annoying too. i also prefer incoming calls to pop in my face when im typing a text and was about to send it and it just stops me abruptly. i really like the scrolling notification on the palm. that's something android devs should be considering. i think the top notification bar can be just a little be more.

WebOS is after all a Linux based platform so I don't see why it or some features can't be ported to the G1, the only problem I can see is getting the controls right but it seems like an interesting idea though nonetheless

Linux has nothing to do with "porting" user interface features of one device to another.

Additionally, I'm fairly certain Palm will (or has) patented their UI, making any idea of mimicking a moot point.
