overclocking the g1

as said before it could be an overheating issue, or could put to much load on the motherboard circuts. I just installed the overclock app and it works like a charm so far. I will post back if I encounter any issues.

Setcpu is an overclock app, you can search the market for other overclock apps.

i know this thread is pretty old but i was wondering if i could still get some help here from the ex G1 owners here, please?

someone stole my phone so until i am able to buy a new one i am back using my G1.

i would like to run the most sable and fastest rom out there on my G1.

in case you need to know what i currently have, here are my specs from the "about phone":

android version 2.2
baseband version 62.50s.20.17h_22.19.261
kernel version 2.6.34.5 cyanogenmod-psfreedom-k4 poz@kalezserverpro#4
mod version cyanogen mod 6.0.0 DS, android versio 2.2 ra-dream v1.7.0
build number frf91

should i be running something else? can i overclock the phone still?
