I live a little outside of the greater Orlando area and according to T-Mobile's data coverage map, the areas that I work and live in are well within the 3G area. It's been like that for many months now, but I'm always stuck on Edge. I called T-Mob a few months ago and they said it was a known problem and were working on it. About a week ago I called back to find out WTF was going on and it turns out that they ran out of money for the 3G rollout in the area. They had budgeted for a reasonably wide area but now they have no money to finish the job.

Since they've been advertising one thing and doing another, they offered to let me out of my contract.
