If you hold down the home key at the main page, it will display the last few apps that were opened.....

    Task Switcher.

It's like an Alt+Tab (PC) / Command+Tab (Mac) for android.

you know, that would be a great feature. Perhaps sliding your thumb, from the middle of the page, upwards, each flick of the thumb slides up a different running program.......wait, i just thought tho, this would only be possible with one app when you move from the home screen, cause once your in an app, say the "browser", then that thumb slide will make the webpage move rather than scrolling to the next app or if your in "helloaim", it would move up and down the conversation or buddylist. Hmmmm.... looks like we'll just have to use the task switcher.....unlesssssss...... there is a "button modifier", no but then you would have to use 2 hands. unless you're a lefty then you could use the camera key as the modifier as u flick your thumb for the next app.....oops, sorry, i'm rambling...

Or you Could just create an app along the same lines, so instead of Flicking through the actual apps. your using a standalone app to navigate all the current running apps. with a finger press on the required app taking you to the running application ?

Seems like a Viable way of Browsing Running apps ?

Why create something that already exists?

perhaps, but that would be the way the current task switcher works
