next phone release with android?

does anyone has a specific release date for an upcoming phone base on android?

if i am honest, i really dont like the g1 style
as many of you, i am waiting.. no i am hoping for an android version of the HTC touch HD or something compareable

atm there are a lot of "(maybe) on android in 2009" news

anyone better informed than me?

looking for something similar (with virtual keyboard or not, since i ve read about the upcoming release of a virtual keyboard for android?)
- gps
- hsdpa
- huggggeee display
- extendable memory or at least 5-10gb
- camera


since there are only 3 more weeks i have to chose another phone, i become a bit afraid of not getting something more sexy based on android.


and no this posting is nothing about all the ppl that bought an G1. you ppl are the ones made me fell in love with android

Samsung, LG, Motorola supposed to come out with android phone Feb 09...read that somewhere a couple months back. I'm not 100% sure that this is totally confirmed though.

Anyone know of any more 1GHz phones with Android coming out? The Nexus One is great and all, but I can't get one unless I raise another $280. I can always wait for later in the year once my upgrade becomes active, but I've only had TMo for 11 months now and would really like a new phone, but it's gotta be fast! So, can anyone answer that question?

Acer Liquid, X10, think Acer has another in the works

Everything I look at shows the X10 as being a WinMo phone... Do you think Acer will just drop Android on there, or will they have to have their own operating system (kind of like Samsung does)? I haven't done a lot of research, but I've googled "Android phone, 1ghz, upcoming" and couldn't find much in the works.

Nope its Android with the Rachel UI ontop and it has a 1GHZ and Archos has a 1GHZ coming soon also.

BLAH! You think there's a way to get rid of that Rachel UI? I like Android, and just Android! I don't want an interface that'll "make it look easier". Stick to the basics!

Um pretty sure regular Android is included also just like in Sense UI. I like it, this was gonna be my next Android til I found out the N1 has 512 RAM.
